The partially printed receipt (6 ¾ x 4") acknowledges the $8.81 tax monies from Michael Brown paid to the County Sheriff for 6 Tithes ($4.50), 3 Slaves (.75), 10 Horses (.60) and 936 Acres of land ($2.96). Total tax bill notation in ink on verso. Three neat folds, a few small holes in blank far left area. Well-preserved, Good Fine.
