Artists: Cruikshank, George. English caricaturist and illustrator of numerous popular literary works, most notably Dickens´ Sketches by Boz and Oliver Twist; water-colorist and painter. Choice Autograph Document Signed "Cruikshank". One-page, oblong narrow 8vo, London, April 12, 1844. Bank Check No. "371" drawn on "Finsbury Bank," instructs "Mr. W.C. Fish" to pay "Bradish" or bearer "P.10," accomplished entirely in his hand. Single, circular punch-hole cancellation and spindle hole, both far from signature, otherwise Very Good. Accompanied by an uncommon album page of simple Sketches Signed "Geo. Cruikshank", 2 pages, oblong 8vo, no place, undated. An off-hand page of penciled character sketches, perhaps ideas for a costume party scene, signed in ink at bottom.[2]
