Excellent content letter speaking of religion, Lord North, Lord Rockingham, William Pitt, religious debates in Parliament, Dr. Priesley on divinity, Dr. Chandler and Colonel Burgoyne. Tear into right fold, otherwise About Fine; also a Handwritten Check, Philadelphia, July 27, 1773, written by one Leonard Jacoby to Capt. Daniel Ferguson in the sum of 27 Pounds 4 Shillings and 6 Pence for 121 Gallons of Brandy. Jacoby appears to have had a shop on Second Street above Race St. Very Good.
