Charles I, Briot's second milled issue, Shilling, 6.13g., m.m. anchor, second Briot bust left with large lace collar of stellate pattern, xii behind, reads brit fr et hib, rev. cross moline over square shield, christo avspice regno, lozenge stops (JGB 728A/728 (same obv./rev. dies); N.2305; S.2859), adjustment marks on rims, especially on the reverse, otherwise in mint state, with a mirror blue/grey tone, rare thus Estimate £600-800 provenance:

On this distinctive obverse die the king's crown clearly breaks through the inner circle below the mintmark anchor
