James II, Crown, 30.17g., 1687, second laureate and draped bust facing left, iacobvs.ii. dei.gratia, toothed border both sides, rev. inverted die axis, crowned cruciform shields, eight strings to Irish harp, Garter Star at centre, date either side of crown above English shield, .mag. br.fra. et.hib rex., edge, inscribed in raised letters of inverted axis, .+.decvs.et.tvtamen. .anno.regni.tertio.+.
