(d) France, Legion d'Honneur, Chevalier's breast Badge, gold and enamel, in A. Bacqueville, Paris, case of issue, with riband
(e) Japan, Order of the Sacred Treasure, Second Class, Star, silver, silver-gilt and enamel, in octagonal rio nuri case of issue
(f) Russia, Order of St Anne, Second Class with Swords, neck Badge by Eduard, St Petersburg, gold and enamel, in case of issue, with riband, the group extremely fine, with associated group of seven miniature awards including gold C.B.

Admiral Edward Francis Bruen, C.B., R.N. (1866-1952), educated Stubbington and H.M.S. Britannia; went to sea 1882; Captain 1906; Commander H.M.S. Bellerophon 1913-16 and was present at the Battle of Jutland 31.5.1916 (M.I.D. London Gazette 14.9.1916); Commander H.M.S. Resolution 1916-17; Rear-Admiral 1917; Commanded 2nd Cruiser Squadron 1918 (C.B.1918); Vice-Admiral 1922; retired list 1924.
