An Officer's Pouchbelt of the Rifle Brigade.
A fine patent leather belt, with silver plate, whistle, chain and chain- boss, all HM B'ham 1917 (chain repaired and slightly shortened), with its companion pouch, the badge hallmarked en suite with belt-fittings

This belt was worn by Lieutenant-Colonel RLH Collins, who appears in the 1914 Army List as a Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion, the Rifle Brigade, with seniority from March 1912.
