Cartoon Art: Paul Norris Wonderful, pulpy ODS "Paul Norris" at lower right. A great, 12.25" x 10" ink and light blue wash rendering of a scene from "The Case of the Disappearing Corpse" by Alan Pruitt [identified on verso]. Since it bears a 1948 copyright of King Features Syndicate, it seems this illustration was for a serialized story. Norris was one of the top newspaper and comic book artists of his era, and in 1941, he co-created the DC character Aquaman. Age-toned, with some minor edge soiling, otherwise very good/fine. Estimate US$ 150-200
