toon Art: Charles E. Martin Great ODS "C.E.M." by frequent New Yorker cover artist and cartoonist Charles E. Martin. A full 13.25" x 11" single-panel cartoon in crayon and ink, of a bearded man carrying a sign that reads "It is Later than You Think," asking a businessman if he has the time. Probably intended for the New Yorker magazine, though we have not been able to determine if it ever ran. Minor fingerprints and similar soiling at edges, otherwise VG. Prints of his work sell above our estimate for this original! Estimate US$ 100-150
