Manuscript Ephemera: Fool of Universal History A 13-page ALS "Open Letter to the Fool..." by Michael Gamelkin from Rockaway Avenue near Blake Avenue, Brooklyn, no date but late 19th Century. This manuscript was to be sent to Edward Bellamy (1850-1898) an American author, to be published. It is written in a flowery prose, and at the end the writer "whispered to myself ´Where is truth´ In the unrestricted sway of the Pinkerton!" It is signed "A. Scape Goat." VG. Estimate US$ 40-50
