Manuscript Ephemera: Espionage! 1797. ALS "Thos. Graham," 2pp, legal folio, Vienna, 4/26/1797. He writes Mr. Drake in Brunn, Moravia, explaining that he hasn´t yet learned how to forward his letters, and sending military intelligence on French movements. Graham made his way from Mantua to Austrian headquarters disguised as a peasant, and collected important intelligence. He was created Baron Lynedoch in 1841 and appointed General 1821. VG.
