Truman," 2-1/4 pages, 8vo, on White House stationery, "Tuesday," no exact date [but clearly the week before Easter]. She writes Washington hostess Naomi Nover that she is "so sorry I cannot accept your nice invitation to lunch on Saturday...but I do make a valiant effort to keep Holy Week always, so must miss what I am sure will be a delightful party..."
