Kerensky, Alexander Russian revolutionary leader (1881-1970); Prime Minister of Russia after the first revolution of 1917, he continued the nation´s commitment to World War I; this increased support for the Bolsheviks, who favored withdrawal, destroying the coalition government and culminating in the October revolution that led to the birth of the Soviet Union; later emigrated to the US. Choice Commemorative Postal Sheet Signed "Alexander Kerensky" across two stamps [a 2-cent UN stamp and a 3-cent "Atoms for Peace" stamp] at bottom of sheet, 1 page, 4to, postmarked Washington, October 7, 1953. The sheet commemorates the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty and has the facsimile signatures of US Secretary of State Dean Rusk, UK Foreign Secretary Alec Douglas-Home, Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko. and President John F. Kennedy. In fine condition. With a printed 1917 Russian 5% Bond and a clipping about Kerensky. Estimate US$ 150-200
