Stunning group of eleven ca. 8" x 10" Photographs, apparently used for publication, showing Ulster during the hotter days of conflict in Northern Ireland. Most are images of graffiti taking one or the other side in "the Troubles," although one chilling image shows police in action on a city street, with tangled barbed wire in the foreground. All photographs save that of the police have been written on with red marker, undoubtedly as a guide for cropping. Some examples: "Provies Out" (using nickname of the Provisional Irish Republican Army), "...Unfree shall never be at peace...They have shot McCann, the fools (We will avenge)...," "We shall not forsake the blue skies of freedom for the grey mists of an Irish republic / No Surrender," and "Easter 1916-1972 / IRA / Provo Rule." All are somewhat curled, otherwise VG/Fine. Estimate US$ 100-150
