"Pete" Bucher US naval officer (1927-2004); commander of the intelligence ship USS Pueblo when it was attacked by North Korean forces in international waters; one US sailor was killed, and the other 82 crew members were imprisoned for 11 months and subjected to torture. Choice SP "L.M. ´Pete´ Bucher / CDR USN retired / CO USS Pueblo" in silver ink over light and mid-tone portions of image. A 10" x 8" close-up of the rugged commander in his later years.
