Church, Albert E. "Elements of the Differential and Integral Calculus." New York, Wiley and Putnam, 1842. 8vo, brown cloth with pressed design, gilt spine. Inscribed on second endpaper "Major R. Delafield / with the respects / of Prof. Church," probably in Church´s hand, though we cannot verify it, and publisers would often provide such notes on behalf of authors. However, since Church was a West Point man himself, it is likely his hand. Minor rubbing of boards, foxed extremities, and a light dampstain at top of first quarter or so, overall VG.
