Children of King George V & Queen Mary
1906-1911 Group of items sent to Dr Frederick Jackson (1873-1942), physician to the Royal Family at Sandringham, comprising an undated York Cottage sheet of notepaper written in pencil by the future King Edward VIII and Duke of Windsor, "For Dr. Jackson's Children / from / Edward" and signed further by "Albert" and "Mary", (future King George VI and the Princess Royal); a note on embossed York Cottage notepaper "From Harry" with the envelope to Dr Jackson at Guy's Hospital, London, posted from Sandringham 1906 (Prince Henry, future Duke of Gloucester); a Christmas Day menu dated 25 December 1911 with the cypher of King George V, signed at the top "Edward" and "Mary". At this date Prince Edward was Prince of Wales. Included are two photographs of the children skating and Prince Harry (signed in pencil) on a pony with Dr Jackson. A wonderful group of items (6)
