1635 Letter signed by Newcastle (1593-1676), written from Welbeck with an attractive address panel "To my very worthy friend, Sir John Lister knight, Kingston upon Hull", referring to a misunderstanding regarding a tenant. Newcastle was an English courtier, supporter of the arts and renowned horse breeder. Remembered as being patron of the playright Ben Johnson (18x26cm)
