Exchequer Documents
A group of six assorted documents from the exchequer, containing many important signatures such as Henry Pelham and Lord Halifax.

Included in this group is; a letter dated 1710 from Lord Halifax (signed) to other officers of the exchequer concerning a loan of £729,067, a receipt dated 1729 sending £4705.12s.5d to Lord Onslow, signed by John Hobart, 1st Earl of Buckinghamshire, a receipt dated 1738 for £179.15s given to Lord Onslow and signed by John Hobart, 1st Earl of Buckinghamshire, a letter sent to Henry Pelham regarding defficiencies within the stamp duty, to which Pelham responds with a warrant to raise this money, signed by himself, George Lyttleton and Henry Vane, a receipt dated 1746 for money sent to Horatio Walpole, and a 19th century exchequer receipt from James Craig.
