Exchequer Requests for Payment
A group of six documents requesting payment from the exchequer from 1624 to 1806.

Included in this group are requests from; George Rodney, Son of Admiral Rodney (1806), Lord Bellenden (1721), Dowager Duchess of Portland, Francis (1671), Sir Richard Weston, the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1624), Lord Banff (1754), and John Neale, Sheriff of Surrey (1724).

As well as the signatures from the people involved in the documents, there are signatures from important officers of the exchequer including; Nugent, Dupplin, Bilson-Legge, Drummond, and William Wynn.

Good to excellent condition. (19 x 16cm to 34 x 23cm)
