Broadsides and Pamphlets
A wonderful collection of Royalist and Parliamentarian printed matter (27 items) presented in two custom Secol box files, including a 1792 copper engraving after Robert Streater titled "A Representation of the Armies of King Charles I and Sir Thomas Fairfax exhibiting the exact Order in which the Several Bodies of Infantry & Cavalry were drawn up, Preparatory to the Battle of Naseby, fought the 14th June 1645", a group of pamphlets: "Prince Rupert's Declaration to the King of Portugal, "Two Speeches of the Right Honrable William Viscount", "Propsitions Made by the Citie of London for the raising of a Million of Mony for quick subduing of the bloudy Rebels in Ireland", "Three Ordinances of the Lords and Commons Concerning the Trained Bands March", "The Oxford Character of the London Diurnal Examined and Answered", "The Archbishop of Canterbury's Speech or His Funerall Sermon, Preacht by himself on the Scaffold on Tower-Hill", "A Perfect Copie of Prayers used by His Majesty in the time of His Sufferings" etc.
