Cromwell's Council of State - Richmond Park
1649 (25 December) document issued "By vertue of an Ordinance of both Houses of Parliament" ordering the payment to "Mr. Humphrey Rogers one of the Keepers of his Ma'ties greate Parke of Richmond in the Countrie of Surry the summe of Twentie five pounds, for his Fee of Fiftie pounds per Annum payable".
Signed by Cornelius Holland (Regicide), Sir Henry Vane, William Cecil (2nd Earl of Salisbury), Algernon Percy (10th Earl of Northumberland) and William Fiennes.
Receipt on internal page signed by the recipient "Humfrey Rogers".
Very fine and a rare document.
