1648 (18 October) document given at Oxford being a pass for Sir Richard Leveson "To passe from the County of Stafford to London about the making of his Composition and to returne back againe without let or interuption". Signed "T: Fairfax" with postscript reading "To all Officers and Soldiers under my Command".

Document backed on card otherwise in sounds condition and with full, intact seal at top left.
