Undated petition from George Druell, Lieutenant to King Charles I asking for employment in his service having fought for his cause in Berwick, York, Lincoln, Beverley, Nottingham and Oxford, and been taken prisoner in Oxford and taken to London where he remained prisoner for ten weeks but has managed to escape;
1640 petition from Sir Darcy Conyers to King Charles I campaigning for the continuation of the family's Baronetcy originally granted by King Henry II.
A fine and scare duo, both in the cursive hand common among these petitions.
