1632 (13 Sept.) entire letter from Calais to "Henry Brandreth, Merchan in London", the address panel with manuscript charged marking "4d." applied by the newly formed Foreign Post of Frizell and Witherings. One of three known letters to Brandreth in 1632, and a superb early charge marking from this newly established service.
