A valuable line-engraved collection on album leaves, including 1840 1d. black selection, 3-4 margins and generally 2-3 examples of each plate (one for Plate 11, three margins, with 1978 Brandon cert), some with matched 1d. reds and three used on cover; 1840 2d. blue used (4), extensive 1841 1d. red plates 12-177, well written-up with plate flaws identified, experimental and official perforations, including Plate 97 Archer trial used, Plate 17 imprimatur, also paper and lettering varieties, etc. Well worth viewing.
