1866-68 a mint collection including Liverpool with ¼d. sepia (3), brown in a complete sheet of ninety-nine and shades (6), and ½d. slate-lilac blocks of six, fifty-four, seventy-nine and eighty-one, plus singles with cracked plate variety and cancelled; London and Metropolitan with 1866 imperf.; ½d. deep purple-blue in a complete sheet of sixty six, 1866 pin perf.10½; ¼d. deep blue variety imperforate horizontally in a reconstructed block of sixty one making a large part sheet, and a printed circular extoling the advantages of the Circular Delivery Company with a ¼d. blue stamp affixed in the corner together with a card (112x75mm) advertising the services of the Company, both with punch holes; Metropolitan 1867 part newspaper wrapper of The Colonial Mail used locally in London and bearing a fine strike of the oval "circular delivery co/317, high holborn"; London and District imperf. ¼d. yellow-green (blue crayon cancel), perf. ¼d. unused (7), used and error of colour plus cancelled on front to Westminster; ½d. unused (11) plus 1867 Perf.13, ½d. claret in an irregular block of eighteen which includes the variety error of colour, and used showing a range of shades; and National with 1867 a duplicated selection of unused which includes ¼d. light green (11), ½d. blue (17), ¾d. yellow (15) one with extra row of horizontal perfs.; 1d. brown-rose (7); several multiples which are generally fresh, 1868 Large Design, an unused selection with ¼d. green (124) and 1d. scarlet (42) in multiples. Mixed condition as to be expected, though a superb collection of these scarce issues
