1907-53 a large collection of registered envelopes (c.115+) including 1907 KEVII Essay envelope for the new design by Thacker of Birmingham with sizes G and H and showing different size lettering; 1912 KGV 3d. red-brown Printer's registration sheet with twenty eight impressions of the 3d. head printed on "Specimens" paper (205x187mm) marked "Registration Die No W/19" and two heads marked for imperfections, Size F, unused envelope with variety additional albino impression of the head die impressed on the reverse, good to fine unused; also size F envelope overprinted Specimen and used to London cancelled by Bradford "registered 2d" dated oval; 5d. orange Size F envelope variety orange omitted unused (2); 1921 KGV Provisionals 2d. black plus 3d. violet; size G with square flaps, a small group with unused (6) and used (2); 1947 KGVI De la Rue imprint; size F variety brown omitted (2) both fine unused, size F handstamped "specimen"; size G "P.A. & Co Ltd" imprint variety registration value printed twice on different parts of the flap, and size F variety brown omitted, both unused; 1940-49 KGVI 5½d. Brown 1941 size H variety brown omitted, Size G showing varieties with the registration head printed twice on different parts of the flap, both cancelled on 1948 envelope from Shipley to Leeds; also an example with the blue printing omitted fine unused, Size H showing the variety registration head printed twice on different part of the flap unused; 1952-53 KGVI 8½d. grey selection with 1952 "4d" size F unused and used and size H unused and used; 1952 "6d" size F unused and used, size G unused and used and size H unused and used; 1953 size G unused and used; Also Forces issues 1915 2d. black, a detailed collection on leaves with the different types and flaps, both unused and used with various codes letters; several interesting used covers including from New Zealand forces in Egypt, Indian Expeditionary Forces and one used in Manchester after the armistice, 1945 3d. green "Compensation" with six lines of instructions, unused and used from FPO 801 to London and 1952 6d. mauve, a collection on leaves with unused and used (7) uprated with either Q.E. 1½d. or 2½d. A remarkable selection well worth careful viewing.
