1877-1901 with 1877 (Nov.) Notice titled "Changes in the System of Registering Letters and in the Scale of Charges for Inland Money Orders"; 1878 Issue 1 Size G; unused, with imprint; 1878-79 Issue 6 A group of unused showing different printings with size of lettering, etc. with size F (5), size G (9) one with small square for the adhesive stamp, and size H; 1886 Issue 14 Post Office Notice for changes to take effect on 1st May, with changes in parcels, insurance and compensation giving the new scale of charges; two paper repairs and some light even ageing of the paper. Also 1889 patent for Colwell's invention for an improved envelope with layout plan; 1901 Issue 23 Unprinted proofs of the new envelope by Willcocks of Birmingham with the introduction of the squarer flaps with examples of sizes F, G and H2, and proofs by McCorquodale on buff coloured stock with sizes G, H and H2. An interesting group.
