A proof and trial selection including 1902 1d. colour trials on buff wrapper with K.E.VII ½d. green (3) with Q.V. ½d. green, K.E.VII 1d. vermilion (3) with Q.V. ½d. green; K.E.VII 1d. yellow-brown with Q.V. 1d. yellow-brown and K.E.VII 1d. vermilion with Q.V. 1d. vermilion, Colour Proofs: ½d. light green on proof paper (47x68mm.) and 1d. scarlet on proof paper (50x57mm.), both handstamped "specimen"; 1904 1d. Die Proofs in black on glazed card (92x60mm.), one without markings, the other dated "9 oct. 01" in blue and "after/hardening" with manuscript "1d.
