Sloper Orb Punch Holes: 1870 (10 Nov.) commercial ½d. stationery card from London to Worthing cancelled by the punched orb inverted; central spike hole. Rare. Used between 9-21 November. Possibly only seven cards recorded; Arrow Punch Holes 1872-73, a group of ½d. stationery cards cancelled by the 8 hole cancellations, one with the two left holes missing and redirected in London with a faint strike of the small crowned "R" in circle. One is a forgery; also Cresswell postmarks 1857-66 collection (16 covers) on leaves, mostly London receivers on reverse struck in red (3) or blue (5), London Duplex (2), Exeter duplex (2) and received. A fascinating and rare group.
