GE in a deep shade, small to good margins, used for redirection on 1841 (5 June) printed voting request from Skipton to Dunkeswick bearing 1841 1d. red-brown, plate 11, CG (touching to large margins) cancelled by black Maltese Cross; the letter incorrectly address to "near Pontefract" and with "Missent to" with open top Pontefract c.d.s. (6.6) and redirected to Wetherby. Forwarded on arrival to Leeds with the Penny Black well tied by black Maltese Cross, the address side with Skipton and further Pontefract c.d.s. which the reverse bears Wetherby and Leeds c.d.s.
