A147; 1840 (1 July) from Liverpool to Hexham cancelled by Maltese Cross in red-orange shade with straight line "berry-st/liverpool" on reverse; A181 (1840 (16 Aug.) from Scarborough to Pershore cancelled by red Maltese Cross in brighter shade and sender's seal on reverse; A281 (forme 5 or 6) 1840 (28 Oct.) from London to Leeds cancelled by three strikes of red Maltese Cross; and stereo obscured 1840 (29 Aug.) from Wexford to Carrickfergus cancelled by Maltese Cross in red-orange shade with Carrickfergus d.s. on face and "broadway/80"mileage mark on reverse. Generally fine and a good group.
