A4: 1841 (21 Mar.) forme 1 (displaced stereo) cancelled by two superb strikes of Manchester 'fishtail' Maltese Cross with undated "green acres moor" in lower corner and addressed to Leamington, the reverse with Manchester despatch c.d.s. in red; some peripheral soiling does not detract from this magnificent and charismatic cover. The inside with advertisement for Jell's General Commercial Envelope (MA17A). Probably the finest example of this distinctive cancellation. B.P.A. Cert. (2010). Cat. £8000+. Photo
