Envelope from Janina to Vienna, bearing 1864 5s. rose, pair and single, cleanly tied by very fine strikes of "janina" c.d.s.'s, backstamped in Trieste (7.2) and Vienna on 9 February, thus showing the efficient service provided by the Austrian Lloyd, transporting a letter over such a long distance in only nine days. A very rare franking paying a double rate. Michel 21.
