1873 (7 March). Cover from Durazzo (Durrës) to Trieste, franked with 1867 10 kreuzer, instead of the required soldi currency, as one of the exceptional cases in which this went unnoticed by postal clerks, very cleanly tied by the “durazzo” thimble c.d.s. in blue (Tchilinghirian & Stephen type 3), backstamped on arrival (13.3). Among the very few covers bearing the usage of kreuzer stamps in Albania, about five recorded, this is unique with this cancellation. Signed F. Zanetti and Y. Nakri. Michel 4.
