Taungs: 1890 (7 Nov.) envelope to Berlin bearing unappropriated 6d. with 1888 ½d. vermilion (3) tied by good strikes of "taungs/bechuanaland" code "A" c.d.s., the reverse bearing Cape Town (11.11) and Berlin arrival c.d.s. A good cover paying the 7½d. rate. Also 1893 (20 Feb.) 1d. stationery card uprated ½d. vermilion to Germany, cancelled by the same despatch c.d.s. with Vryburg (20.2) transit alongside; small tears at top. (2 covers)
