A collection of unadopted Euro Banknote designs, [14 essays] hand-made essays for 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 & 500 Euros, 1996,

Designed by Colin Braun as a participant in the Euro Banknote Design Competition, in anticipation of the first 2002 issue. Braun was one of 29 individuals or teams selected to propose designs for the first issue of Euro banknotes. Braun's "Série No. 15" was ultimately rejected in favour of Robert Kalina's now-iconic designs, but his beautiful proposals encapsulate brilliantly the initial brief of "Through the Ages".
