IN · COMMEMORATION, enthroned figure of Empire facing, flanked by Science, Letters, Art, Industry and Agriculture, cherubs above bearing shields inscribed MDCCCLXXXVII and MDCCCXXXVII, also bearing wreaths with VRI within, Mercury and Tie reclining below, five linked shields in exergue, inscribed ASIA, AMERICA, EUROPE, AUSTRALASIA, AFRICA, edge plain, 58mm, 85.47g, 12h (BHM 3219; Woolaston 39; WE 2000; Eimer 1733a), brilliant, in glorious high relief, good extremely fine, only 944 struck, in NGC holder, graded PROOF 62 ULTRA CAMEO (Cert. #8535826-001)
