XPE ' R'D ', ship surmounted by square-topped shield and mast dividing h and rose, saltire stops, 5.12g [79.02grns], 7h, m.m. pheon (Schneider I, 542ff; North 1698; S.2187), striking softness to face, otherwise on a full, round flan with appealing reddish-orange peripheral toning, with delightfully sharp detailing to Angelic feathers and the Royal shield, a pleasingly good very fine thus, in NGC holder, graded ALMOST UNCIRCULATED 58 (Cert. #8773841-003)
