MEVM || CIVI | TAS | LON | DON, saltire stops, long cross, trio of pellets in angles, 3.07g [47.38grns], 2h, m.m. halved sun and rose (Grantley 1458 same obverse die; DNW 288, lot 128 same obverse die; B&W XXII; North 1631; S.2146), a hint of light tone across a stupendously sharp and uniform strike, a true extremely fine, and in reality a scarcely believable example of this fateful Prince, likely as 'mint fresh' an example as is possible to conceive or to survive!, in NGC holder, graded ALMOST UNCIRCULATED 58 (Cert. #8773840-001) [*Single Finest Certified*]
