(i.m.) Ih'C : AVTEM : TRAnSIEnS : PER : MEDIV : ILLORVM : IBAT, double saltire stops, A unbarred in GRA and IBAT, floriate cross, crowned leopards in angles, trefoil-tipped central panel, C at centre, 7.63g [117.75grns], 12h, i.m. cross pattée (Schneider I, 97, same dies; North 1235; S.1504), a little uneven at 2 o'clock, but uniformly well struck, near extremely fine, a delightful example with a fine pedigree
