(i.m.) IhC • AVTEM • TRAIICIEIIS • P • MEDIVM • ILLORVM • IBAT, single annulet stops, floriate cross, crowned leopards in angles, with additional lys in second quarter, large closed E at centre, 7.67g [118.37grns], 7h, i.m. cross pattée (LAL, dies AU/3; Doubleday 93 same dies; Schneider I, 40 same obverse die; North 1179; S.1490), lightly toned and crisply struck with much residual lustre, a really wholesome and bold very fine, the die sinker's error remarkably clear
