(x) William II 'Rufus' (1087-1100), 'Cross Fleury and Piles' Type, Penny, 1098-1100, Thetford, Beorhtnoth, + PILLELM RE, crowned and draped bust facing, holding sceptre in right hand, star to right, rev. + BRIHTOÐ ON ÐTF, cross fleury with a pile surmounted by a pellet in each angle, 1.34g [20.68grns], 6h (EMC 2001.0756 this coin; SCBI -; North 856; BMC V; S.1262), in two pieces, the fabric otherwise stable, field toned and fine; the only known example for Beorhtnoth of this type
