(x) Transport Medal 1899-1902 1 clasp, S. Africa 1899-1902 (J. Crawford.), very fine

J. Crawford served as a Surgeon on the Englishman and died on his passage back home; his medal was issued to his widow in 1904. The Englishman was owned by the Anchor Line, a Scottish merchant shipping company.
