An immaculate and brilliant proof, one of only 60 struck for private consumption, this being NUMBER ONE Certification traditionally reserved for the Royal Household, with the unusual feature of being the first Five Sovereign Piece to be struck with a date on both sides of the coin, in NGC holder, graded PF70 ULTRA CAMEO (Cert. #8465181-004) [*Joint Finest Certified*], accompanied by the Royal Mint case of issue and Certificate of Authenticity [No. 1 of 60].

In celebration of the Royal Patronage of Spink by members of the Royal Household continuously since 1890, we are delighted to have received news of the continued Patronage of our Sovereign, His Majesty King Charles III in 2025. This year, the Royal Mint produced an exclusive Gold Proof Five Sovereign Piece, of which only 60 will be struck. This example bears the unique "Number 1" certificate usually retained by the Mint, but here offered exclusively for Spink clientele and the public collector at large for the very first time.
