1900 (17 Mar.) stampless OHMS envelope used locally in Halifax bearing a fine strike of straight-line "free from strathcona's horse," in black and Halifax c.d.s. Also unused Elder Dempster Line, Transport 'Monterey', Strathcona's Horse. The S.S. 'Monterey' left Halifax on 17th March. A good pair of covers. Photo
