1841 Two Pence Blue
A scarce used group including horizontal strip of three, pairs (3) and single, all with clear margins all round, one pair with large portion of adjoining stamp at right, 1851 (8 Aug.) piece from Irvine to New York bearing strip of three tied by '18' barred numeral in blue, piece struck with "paid and "5/cents" on face, and Irvine and Liverpool blue d.s. on reverse, 1848 (5 Aug.) entire with enclosure from Solihull to Henley in Arden bearing strip of four, 1844 (15 Feb.) entire letter from Kendall to Edinburgh bearing single, and 1851 (4 July) envelope to Southampton bearing single. A fine group.
