HH, good to very large margins, showing portions of the adjoining stamps at left and right, tied by superb, upright Maltese Cross in black to 1841 (9 March) entire letter sent locally within Edinburgh with 09.03.41 d.s. on reverse; also OG, intense black shade, good to large margins all round, tied by fine black Maltese Cross to 1841 (20 March) entire (no side flaps) to Scotland St., 20.03 d.s. on the reverse; vertical filing folds clear of the adhesive. A fine duo.
