Soldiers rate entire letter to Bannisburn, countersigned, 1854 letter from the Postmaster of Bothwell with a strike of the Bothwell u.d.c. in blue, 1863 stampless entire letter to France with Leith "221" duplex, charged "16" on arrival; Island mail and 1832 entire to Edinburgh with straight line "aros" (Isle of Mull) on reverse, 1842stampless entire Registered from Easdale to Edinburgh, with framed "oban" transit, 1901 coloured p.p.c (Dunollie Castle) with message written from Portree (Isle of Skye), franked ½d. with Stornoway cancellation, 1944 3d. + 2½d. registered envelope with Stronsey Kirkwall Orkney cancellation, taxed 3d. Postage Due, etc. A good group for the specialist.
